History and Trajectory
In 2018, while serving as a judge in the Best Coffee of Brazil contest, Josiana Bernardes identified an exceptional coffee for its brightness, body, and sweetness. It was Horacio’s first time competing, and his talent was still unknown. After meeting him, Josiana guided him on the true value of his coffee and gave him key advice to improve his process, especially in drying cleanliness and fermentation.
From that moment on, Horacio dedicated himself to a constant pursuit of quality. His expertise in Honey and Natural processes led him to win several awards in the following years, gaining recognition on the international stage.

Region – Zona da Mata
🌿 Mild and mountainous climate, with hand-harvested coffee.
🌳 Surrounded by remnants of the Atlantic Forest, the richest region in biodiversity in Brazil.
🏔 Pico da Bandeira (2,892 m), the third-highest point in Brazil, is located in the Serra do Caparaó.
Zona da Mata is known for its family farming, where coffee production coexists with sugarcane, corn, and bean crops. Its mountainous terrain and fertile soils favor the production of complex, high-quality coffees.
